Hello there, I'm Emmeline Lock. Thanks for stopping by.

I write quirky speculative romance. I read every kind of book about love there is. I stuff things into cupboards and hope the doors will hold. I continue to work on my life's goal of drinking bubbles from a flute whilst lying in a hammock without spilling any on my book...

'EverTrue', my first published piece, can be found in the RWA Little Gems Anthology 2013, and my second, 'Liberating Clemency', a Virtue Alliance story, was published in SciFi Romance Quarterly.

Number three, 'Say The Words' can be found in the RWA Gems for 2016.

I'm currently working on the next Virtue Alliance story and a mystery coastal romcom. ...more

August already, what the?!

Hi lovely people!

Once again, I find myself telling the world I haven't perished! Dreadful.

BUUUUUUT, I have been busy!

Not only have I been working the day job, carting the offspring around (not the band, the children) and generally having a good 'ole time with Mr Sparky Lock, but I have been writing!

I've subbed two stories in the last ten days, and my excitement knows no bounds!
