Tara, a woman crippled by a motor vehicle accident the year before, begins to see beyond the physical world she that has now been banned from. She begins to see a wonderful place, where the horizon is breathtaking, and it is where Tara can finally walk and speak again.
What she would will soon find out, is that everything that is beautiful has to have an ugly side. And sometimes, that ugliness can turn to an ever expanding-shroud, and engulf the beauty around it.
Join these characters and more as they travel through time and space, to discover laws of universe that they never thought possible.

Nothing Is Trivial
Take a reflection on yourself and think: What do you take for granted?
In a world where money rules the majority and power comes at the lost of peoples happiness, we often forget about the little things that truly matter. There the things that make it possible for us to keep waking up to the pseudo-freedom the society we’ve created bestows us with. They keep our mentalities safe, and our hearts at peace in times of war, something that has unfortunately become a daily practice in our so-called modern age.
If you take away these little things, we begin to doubt, to lose focus, and our sanity with it gets pulled down by the gravity of reality. Yet we take them away ourselves, simply by forgetting about them.
Such things that seem so meaningless, like our mothers when they told said “I love you” or when our fathers would teach us the mechanics of a man-made machine. It’s going to work to a job that you love, and having fun for an entire day while you earn your living.
Think about the last time you watched the sun rise, or the moon shine brightly in the starry-night sky.
How did you feel?
Did you feel a safety amongst the life and warmth of a brand new day?
Or did you simply pass it by as just another sun while you drove to work?
Take another step back, and think about yet another time you may have taken a moment for granted. It could be the best moment of your last birthday party, or the deep conversation you’ve had with a close friend. It could be the moment your child was born, or just simply a day where everything seemed to work smooth.
It could be the first time you experienced love, and it could be that last time you saw that loved one. The last time you laughed with them, and stopped caring about the agonies the world around us has sadly has fallen accustomed to.
It‘s things like this and more, that we take for granted on a daily basis. Without moments like these, we drive ourselves into a state of animosity. Times are tough and it can be difficult to stay positive. However, it is important to remember that it’s the small things in life that truly matter, not how much money you have or the position of your company. It’s the characteristics of your life that make you smile, you can still hold onto when all that money and power is stripped away.
Don’t take for granted the things that seem insignificant, because life is a merely a quick journey and inside of its bounds, nothing is trivial.

I hope you all enjoyed it!

Things are grim through the perception of Jason Reamer. His younger brother just died, and the police are sure a heart attack is the cause for the death. Which may have been true, but even without a degree in Medical Science, Jason Reamer knows that heart attacks don’t make people’s heads explode.

Here is just a little snippet of what to expect at my page:
It fades in again, that creeping feeling that moves me forward towards my desires. I cannot allow myself to fall by the wayside, for there I surely won’t survive.
In life we cross boundaries small and large, that must be overcome, otherwise we end up camping out at the very wall we did not dare to climb. Broken pieces of a lost dream, blown around by the winds of life wherever it may take them. A constant cycle, of settling for what you have, instead of pursuing the goals you truly deserve. We make our own rewards, so what’s holding us all back?
Fear.
It’s the creator of doubt, and the demon that pulls us down into our solidarity, into our ‘safe place’. The unfortunate truth is that fear is all around us, and it increases with our world’s trepidations; its agonies and its faults. We all know there are many, but do they really need to override our deepest urges?
We have become a society bent on taping bubble wrap to every sharp corner, afraid that our offspring will relive the pain and fears we faced when we, were them. Those pains and fears that made us who we are, and drove to us to feeling safe, and strong enough to birth those offspring in the first place. How can we raise them to be independent, to survive, when they are never even allowed to bruise?
It doesn’t stop at the offspring, it never stops. That’s humankind’s nature. Without it we wouldn’t have developed the hand-sanitizers that kill the same germs that we need to develop a proper defense, to all those harmful viruses we’re so afraid of. Nobody seems to notice that the only real virus we are plagued with; it’s our own need to second guess everything, and over-think the tasks that once were so very simple.
You see it in the way our Governments act toward each other. They attempt to put their own version of hand-sanitizer on the land that was never theirs, only because their eyes are sending them a message that their brains cannot bear; that they’re not used to.
So who asked them to look?
Most think they may be wavering evil, and in some cases that may be the truth. Most of the time, however, they only spill more blood, and create more evil in the hearts of those they meant to rescue, more fear. Now, reading this, you may be thinking to yourself, “Isn’t money the root of all evil?”
Well, what drives us to need money?
The society we live in doesn’t allow us the basic necessities without it. It creates the fear for survival.
Money is the root of all evil, but fear is the reason we want the evil.
So where does this bring us?
To a world, wrought with never-ending, infinite, terror. We create it ourselves, we market it, we sell it, we buy it, and we love it. A parasitic species with a strange and sordid thirst to watch everything we’ve created burn to pieces.
It’s silly really, when all we need to do is set our goals high, and stop this fear from corrupting our existence. Humankind can overcome any obstacle it seems, so why can’t we make sense of the world we’ve created for ourselves? It’s so simple, yet so complex.
I only hope we can change before it is too late.

Excerpt: Spettra Book One
"A book that will take what you think of the afterlife, and flip it upside down."
Spettra is a five star reviewed, psychological thriller that has a deep concept that truly is out of this world. It holds a deep subtext, and you may see some of it for yourself below.
An Excerpt from "Spettra"
Chapter 1, Part 1.
1
Dr. Lance Farlington wasn’t a man who scared very easy. He did not believe in the supernatural, and ghosts, ghouls or goblins hadn’t haunted him since he discovered that Santa Clause wasn’t real. He understood about the variety of hazards and dangers of the world he lived in, but swept them off his shoulder with the ease of a freshly fallen snowflake. On a planet where the air you breathe can contribute to cancer and the food you eat can destroy your organs, worrying about what could kill you could be more lethal than all the hazards of the universe combined.
Today however, Lance’s hands were trembling on the steering wheel of his old Ford Sedan as he sat in the parking lot of Whitewall Psychiatric Centre. Fear it seemed, was his best friend today.
“Oh god… What am I going to do?” He muttered looking down into his lap. Disappointing his wife was one of the only things he was afraid of and tonight that seemed inevitable.
Lance had been working as a Psychiatrist at the institute for only two months after leaving his job at the University Hospital for the better paying job at Whitewall treating convicted murderers. It wasn’t a choice he was happy with, but it was a choice that needed to be made for his family.
The year before his wife had been in a violent car accident leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. A gravel truck had skid passed a red light and struck the back end of her SUV sending her rolling through a nearby boulevard and into a light pole. The doctor had said it was a miracle she had survived at all, but Lance sometimes wondered if sometimes miracles were just disguises for agents of further pain and suffering.
The home care bills were over a thousand bucks a month and the insurance from the accident cut off their payments after eight months, saying that Lance made too much money. It seemed funny to him since he had never felt poorer in his life. Even with the raise he got from being hired at Whitewall, the bills were still hard to manage. Now the extra money in that paycheck was beginning to show it’s true colors.
He was asked to work the night-shift for the next month starting with next night. This meant having to get home-care to stay longer so that he could sleep during the day and take care of Tara at night while he was at work. He already estimated this extra care was going cost a few hundred more than usual, but the bill for home-care was not his main concern.
What bothered Lance was the promise he had made to his wife earlier that week. Each year, Tara drove down to her hometown of Gorete to visit her father’s grave. He died of a heart attack when she was a young child and it had been a tradition ever since to visit it at least once a year.
It was now Friday, and Sunday was the anniversary of her father’s death. If his wife couldn’t be there it was going to crush her spirits more than the truck had crushed her Ford Escape a year before.
“And I’m on Salary!” he exclaimed to himself inside the car, “Not even making an extra penny for it. I’ll even be losing money with the homecare. Man, this is ridiculous!”
Try as he might, he failed to see a silver lining. The whole situation just plain stunk.
He sighed, and decided that it was time to stop dwelling on the things that were making his stomach twist and turn with the rotten sensation of guilt and anger. In the end, it was, what it was, and there wasn’t anything he could do about it. They would just have to visit her father’s grave next month when Lance was back on regular hours. That was all there was to it.
He put the keys in the ignition and started the old Ford sedan. The engine purred roughly as he waited for it to warm up. It was November and temperatures were already dropping below zero meaning he would be doing this more often in the next month as winter grasped its icy claws on the country.
His eyes glanced toward the fourth floor window of Whitewall. That was his new wing that came with the night shift, where the craziest of the crazies were held. Most of the patients on that floor had very limited freedoms and spent most of their days in the cells. The employees mostly referred to them as the “Perms” or “Lifers” both inside and outside of the institute. It was the nice way of saying that these people were the ones that society had given up on.
As he put the car into reverse to pull out of the lot, he thought he saw a face in one of the small windows of the floor. When he backed out of his stall and looked back, there was nothing there. The sound of a soft whisper began to ring in his head so quietly he couldn’t make out the words only its raspy beginning.
“Heeeeeeeeee-”
Something about it seemed quite familiar, but he couldn’t place where he had heard the voice before. That was locked somewhere deep in the crevasses of Lance’s mind, in a place that even he didn’t even have access to.
A sharp chill tingled up his spine and for a moment he thought he saw two shimmering blue eyes appear in the window like two floating stars. Then there was nothing again, but the feeling it gave him made his hands grip the steering wheel tighter and his knuckles began to turn white.
Relax Lance. It’s just a nurse or something. You’re just a little uptight so relax man, just take a chill pill.
He thought looking at the paper blank exterior of the building.
You’re just seeing shit.
Lance drove out of the large parking lot and drove into the thin sliver of sunlight toward Spruce Drive and the house he and his wife shared. He had brushed off whatever it was he saw in the window far from his mind and he was again thinking about how badly he was about to disappoint the woman he loved.
It’ll be alright, just another speed-bump that’s all. It will all be all right.
He kept his thoughts positive as the car rolled down the pavement.
Just a speed bump, just a spee-
BLAM!
The car slammed into a large pothole that caused him to bounce up and hit his head on the roof.
“OW!” He cried as he rubbed his head and took his foot off the gas.
“Damn pot-holes.”
He gained his focus again and continued to drive, eyes peeled for more craters in the road. He saw none and smiled not yet aware that soon he was going to land in the largest hole he had ever seen. The kind you could not swerve around or a road crew cannot patch, and a man can be swallowed whole without a trace left to be found.
