Elisabeth Hamill is a nurse by day, unabashed geek/chocoholic/closet fantasy novelist by night. She lives with her family, dog, and cat in the wilds of eastern suburban Kansas, where they fend off flying monkey attacks and prep for the zombie apocalypse.

Her first novel, SONG MAGICK, won first in category for Teen Fantasy in the 2014 Dante Rossetti Awards and is a finalist in the 2017 OZMA Awards for Fantasy.

Telyn and Mithrais' continuing story, TRUTHSONG, was published in July 2016. A third book will conclude the Songmaker Trilogy.

She also writes adult fiction under the name E.M. Hamill. Her sci fi novel DALÍ will be published in late summer 2017.
