Last month marked the five-year anniversary of the 2020 lockdown, a challenging period filled with personal hardships and fears of loss. Despite the overwhelming uncertainty, the experience fostered resilience and gratitude for life. Lessons learned during this time emphasize the importance of hope and growth, even through life's smaller storms. The post includes poems to illustrate and reinforce the topics discussed.

A rainy end of winter has hijacked Andalucia, a soggy revolt against our 300 sunny days. I’m literally drowning in inspiration watching the insistent drops ping enthusiastically off leaves and windowpanes, so I wrote a haiku for these little daredevils. Maybe you’d like to read it?
