She is focused on strategic communications in the multi-media and print journalism field. She has advanced knowledge of - Canadian Press Style, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Dream Weaver, QuarkXPress, HTML, Blogger, Google +, Photo Mechanic, Light Room, Sound Slides, iMovie, Final Cut Express (audio video production), and Nikon camera systems.

Monique is fully bilingual in French and English. In addition, she has a grasp of the Japanese and Spanish languages. She has been recognized by the Saskatchewan Weekly Newspapers Association in 2014 and 2012.
