“He was now my world, and I vowed to do everything I possibly could to protect him.”

“I want you to meet your grandson, Evelyn. Mason’s son.” I took Sam out of the sling and turned him around to face her. I was so proud of him at that moment, for as if on cue, he looked up lovingly at her with a huge smile on his face that would make any ordinary human melt. But there was nothing, no flicker of emotion on the bitch’s face. She looked up and down every inch of him.”

Hi Ashley, thanks for your friend request! One of my books happens to have been published in Afrikaans recently. :) Do you write in English, Afrikaans, or both?
Hi TamaraI hope you are well and are having a great week. I was just checking in to see if you have had a chance to read my book, Breeders yet? Looking forward to your comments.
Ashley
Hey Tamara - thanks so much. Being a scientist, genetic breeding and designer babies interested me very much, especially the ethics behind it. I hope you enjoy the story. Let me know what you think. xx
Hey Ashley and thanks for your friendship. Picked up your book; interesting title and with the inclusion of the helix graphic, I was on board.T.
Hi Martyn. I just wanted to give you my sincerest thank you for reading the book and providing an HONEST review both here and on Amazon. Friends and family as much as they love you, tend to hide the negatives and give you fluffy and delightful comments on your work. So its really nice to have a fresh perspective. I have made a note of the negative points you have raised and will work on them in the next book. If I can review or do the same for you, kindly dont hesitate to ask. Thanks again. xx
Hi Kylie. I agree - those are some great authors and I love both reading and writing this genre. So nice to "meet" you. xx
I really enjoyed it. It wasn't perfect, but I definitely enjoyed it. The exploration of how Ariet felt about her situation was really well done. I couldn't help but feel that she was almost deluding herself that she'd had freedom before her 'selection' and that she never experienced true freedom - perhaps a reflection of real life? I know how frustrating it is to get downloads and reviews and I thought your story really deserves some exposure - so I left you a review on Amazon.co.uk and .com and here. I think it was probably a 4.5 for me in reality, but well done, good work.
Ashley, thanks for the friend request - we have some favourite genres in common! Grew up reading SF/F, authors like Anne McCaffrey, Andre Norton, Mercedes Lackey. :-) Discovered that these genres could also be mixed with romance, and now I love reading (and writing) them combined!
Thanks so much! I have a Master's Degree in Virology (specialising in genetics and Molecular Biology), so my book makes factual reference to practices we use in science. x

I can't promise when though.
