How to make an author's day
As you all know, Somebody to Love is my book baby. It might have been written as a dare between besties, it might have a grain more truth than fiction, and it certainly has WAY too much of me in it to be comfortable...but it's mine. And like all good things claimed by people, I love it to bits. So imagine my UTTER excitement when I see I have a new 5-star review from Reader's Favourite.
That's right. 5-stars. Oh and a shiny sticker for my books too.
What a way to start off a week? #Winning
In truth, I LOVE all my reviews whether they be one-star or five-star. They show me those wonderful readers took a chance on my words.
(Better still when they shout at me for making them spit their drink through their nostrils.)
