Sveti Ivan od Križa (English: St. John of the Cross ), rođen 24. lipnja 1542., Juan de Yepes Álvarez , bio je glavni protureformacijski lik, španjolski mistik, katolički svetac, karmelićanski fratar i svećenik. Bio je reformator karmelskog reda i smatra se, zajedno sa svetom Terezijom iz Ávile, utemeljiteljem raseljenih karmelićana. Također je poznat po svojim spisima. I njegova poezija i studije o rastu duše smatraju se vrhom mistične španjolske književnosti i vrhuncem sve španjolske književnosti. Kanonizirao ga je za sveca 1726. godine papa Benedikt XIII.
