I'm sort of depressed in a way only another writer might understand. I've been working on my most recent effort for just over a year. Of course, I think it's the best thing I've ever written. Today, at about 75,000 words, it is winding down. The end is in sight. So, I stopped working and moped. I folded some clothes, emptied the dishwasher, tidied my office a little, and other odds and ends. Of course, there is a lot of editing, but the first draft is all but finished. It makes me sad, in a way. Do you know what I'm talking about?
