JADE is Wayne Denning's new military thriller and the first book of The Crystal Trilogy. The Trilogy chronicles the story of Royal Australian Naval Officer Michael Willis. Set in Sydney, Australia, the first book follows Michael Willis as he returns home early from a six month deployment and finds himself in the frame for his wife's murder.

Wayne is an ex-Defence member himself, having served for twelve years with the Royal Australian Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force, specialising in radar, sonar and electronic warfare.
