That's also why travel writers are so popular; people want to learn about new things and different experiences. Good luck with it :)(less)

I've not read your book, I'm afraid, and I've no idea why you would ask me, but I'll answer anyway.

If it's like Fox TV humour then probably not. If it's like George Carlin humour then absolutely. However, if this particular question is a quip you might use - though I shouldn't really speak for an island of 60 million people - then I'd probably go with nope, because it could be deemed to have a waft of underlying nark and condescension. But that might just be the internet and its lack of emotive connection.

Personal experiences, no matter how nuanced, are human experiences, so why not?(less)

Zita Muranyi is the Author of On Mr. Darcy's Sofa!

I'm a Hungarian writer and poet. I graduated from the University of Szeged with a degree in communication. My first novel, entitled Mirrorpalace (Tükörpalota) was published in 2003, and I received the Sandor Bródy Prize in 2004. They awarded this prize to the best debut authors. I had four books of poems and three novels published in Hungarian.

“I wouldn’t worry, she can keep a secret. Silent as the grave.'

‘Give that time.”
Jessica O'Toole, In Perpetuity

“I wish this world had none of it. That we were all bound only by the matter around us and the dreams in our hearts. But it does, and we are all slave to it, unless we give the challenge. What is the point of possessing the power you have if not to use it for the greatest good you hold so dear? And why do you think that goodness exists in doing nothing, rather than trying something you’re uncertain of?”
Jessica O'Toole, The Price of Sanctuary

“Greatness, Master, is generally only considered enough if you are the greatest.”
Jessica O'Toole, The Fate of Vultures

“Not all those who wander are lost.”
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

“If you go home with somebody, and they don't have books, don't fuck 'em!”
John Waters

“All your life, other people will try to take your accomplishments away from you. Don't you take it away from yourself.”
Michael Crichton, The Lost World

“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.”
Bernard M. Baruch

“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”
Mae West
