Any books with wlw and the punk scene, or like that is set in the 90s, with grunge this kind of shit.
Stray City by Chelsey Johnson, Grrrls on the Side by Carrie Pack, Everything Grows by Aimee Herman, and Tegan & Sara’s memoir, High School, are good places to start. And I can’t not mention that my story in All Out, “Molly’s Lips,” is set at Kurt Cobain’s vigil.

Yes! I love Autobiography by Christina Lauren, which has a Mormon love interest struggling with his sexuality. I wish I knew more, and when I find them, they’ll be added here: https://lgbtqreads.com/representation/religion/ but it’s a great one to start with.
"And it Came to Pass" by Laura Stone is excellent, and it was written by a queer former Mormon.
