Happy International Writers' Day - March 3rd
Saluting you, my fellow writers.
International Writers' Day observed on March 3rd annually, was originated by the International Congress of PEN Club (founded in London 1921) & comprised of #novelists #poets #essayists #playwrights #editors. The global non-governmental organization now called PEN International, reps #writers of all #literary genres as well as #journalists #translators & #historians. PEN International is not only one of the largest writers' associations in the world (130+ countries, but an early advocate for #humanrights.

When asked, how can I support writers? Give them five: 1) buy our #books, 2) request our #music & follow our #podcasts & #blogs 3) respect our #intellectualproperty 4) recommend us to others & 5) engage with them by leaving meaningful feedback - like here on GoodReads.
Happy #internationalwritersday!
