The Quiet Man by Caimh McDonnell

*** Possible Spoilers ***

This is number 3 of a series but I haven't read the first two and had no difficulty following this one. It's an excellent book. The pacing is first rate and there are enough plot twists to create a maze. The ending is a little on the open side but presumably the author wants something to work with in the next book. * Possible Spoilers * A charming and amusing book. The plot is a bit thin and character development is minimal; however, if you like whimsy, and a little satire directed at certain professors within academia, I think you might like it.
