Fuente is my first science fiction. It's a story that I've had a couple of goes at over the years – it's not perfect by a long shot and needs a couple more re-writes to get it to where I want it.

My earlier versions of this story had quite a bit of explicit sex, but I've removed that now as I'm trying to focus more on the characters and story development – the sex scenes seemed to be a bit of a distraction.
