Aprel Phelps Downey loves mixing her creative passions with words to bring thoughts, ideas and characters to life. Her love for writing started in elementary school when she came in second place in a Kiwanis Club essay contest. That experience taught her that words have the power to capture the thoughts and emotions in her head. From there her writing adventures began and continue to this day.

Aprel is the author of two books: Mending the Broken Parts and Frankenpumpess. Each highlights the journey of healing and self-discovery while working to illustrate that the reader is never alone in any issue they may face.
