Just for craps players...new betting method

Surprise! Vegas Fever has a new chapter added!

People kept asking me: "How can I win at craps without becoming an expert dice influence?" ...which is hard to do and takes a lot of effort and practice.

I got to thinking about it, and, darned if I didn't come up with an answer that I included in a new two-page how-to sub-chapter at the end of Vegas Fever.

I've tested it out on four short casino trips that all won small on $5 bets, to where I'm now up $227.90. Even though I'm testing it with the minimum bet amount, it is totally scaleable to bigger bets and winnings as your gambling bankroll increases.

I'll continue to test it, but I believe it is what craps players are looking for...a way to be a consistent long-term winner, with only a low risk of losing your gambling bankroll.

Get you copy today! Still only $2.99, or free with Kindle Unlimited—it's a no-brainer, as well as an interesting read and a fascinating story.

How to Rate a book you've read: My thoughts...

Does it make any sense to have enjoyed a book you've just read, then give it a rating that lowers its overall average ratings? I know I've had a few people rave about my books in their written reviews and then turn around and give it a three-star rating that actually reduces the book's star ranking.

My thoughts? Decide if you liked the book, or if it entertained or educated you. If it did, then look at the book's overall ratings average and be sure to rate it at least that high, so that your rating doesn't pull down and have a negative effect for the book's ratings. Doesn't that make sense?

Some people seem to thing that a three star rating on Amazon means "I liked it." The trouble is that Amazon lists a three-star rating with the one and two star ratings as negative reviews. If a good has a 4.3 star rating and aren't wanting to give a negative rating, then you'll have to give it at least as high a rating as its current average.

Authors: Sell me one of your $2.99 ebooks

I want to buy a copy of your newly-released/struggling-to-get-started $2.99 Ebook! I'm buying and have money to spend on ebooks! (My birthday's next month and I feel like helping out fellow authors.)

I'd like to buy up to seventy-five different $2.99 ebooks from ONLY USA-based INDIE authors, who's ebook is NOT part of a book series and new enough of a release to where it hasn't yet climbed above the 150,000 sales rating on Amazon.com. I'll check on Amazon.com to make sure your book is a stand alone book and to verify the book's sales rank before buying.

If the above description fits your $2.99 ebook and you want me to buy it, EMAIL, or private message me, your book's Amazon.com purchase link at: pokerbillcollins at gmail dot com. (I may get totally over-run with offers and have to pass some over, so first come-first served.)

ONLY Amazon.com ebook purchase links received by email or as a FB PM will be considered. DON'T post them as a reply to this post, as I'll totally ignore your post.

If you email your link, make your email's subject line read: "Buy My Book", so I can give it special attention. Only include the Amazon.com purchase link to just one book per author, please; else, I'll ignore you.

I'll email you back if I purchase and download it, telling you what the first six words of Chapter Five in your book are, as my proof of following through for you. My email may take a few days, as working through this may keep me quite busy for a while, so please be patient. I also have other outside interests that need taken care of during this time, too.

I may also post your book title as a comment to this thread, to show others I'm delivering on my promise to purchase. I'll also post when I have all my purchases made and will stop buying books. (My main goal is to create goodwill by helping others, not to make others mad at me.)

I have also posting this offer on one FB writer's group.

This is one time that saying, "Buy My Book" might actually sell you a book, so email me your ebook's Amazon.com purchase link IF it fits my specifications.

Questions?
Then reread this post to make sure you understand what it is telling you to do to participate.

Thanks,
Bill Collins, author of the newly released fiction novel "Vegas Fever"

Vegas Fever by Bill Collins

Coming-of-Age Love Story/Las Vegas Gambling Vacation Adventure

Ray Hitchcock and his older brother Joe couldn't be more different. Joe wants to take over and run the family farm some day. Ray refuses to let his life be ruled by anything so arbitrary and fickle as "destiny" or "luck". He hopes he can create his own magic.

To try to control his own future, Ray builds a craps table in his father's barn and works to master the art of making the dice fall as he chooses. If something as random as a roll of the dice can be controlled or influenced, what else is possible?

On Ray's twenty-first birthday, he rushes off Las Vegas with Joe in tow for a craps shooting adventure that Ray hopes will allow him to realize his dreams and keep the bank from repossessing their family's farm.

But in Vegas, the house always wants to win. Can Ray realize his dreams or are the dice loaded against this pair of dreamers?

Also, does love await our duo in Vegas?

What adventures/misadventures will happen to
Ray and Joe in Vegas?

Can Ray save the farm?

You get to tag right along at arm's length through all the adventures, misadventures, excitement, the highs and the low— so it's like getting to take a week-long Vegas craps adventure vacation for free!

Opening Paragraphs of "Vegas Fever":

I went to our seldom-used outer barn, where I noticed a brown tarp covering something. Lifting one edge, I saw sheets of thick plywood, two by fours, a roll of simulated leather material and some material rolled up that had inch-square rubber diamonds sticking up all over it. Then I found a wide roll of heavy green felt material. When I unrolled it, I discovered it had a full craps table betting layout silk screened on it.

What the blazes? I'll bet Ray is up to one of his hair-brained ideas again.

I replaced the tarp and shook my head. Ray, you never cease to amaze me, bro.

Joe replaced the tarp and shook his head. Bet Dad doesn't have a clue.

*****
Intro:

95% of all the fun in a casino happens at the craps tables, where most of the non-stop action, excitement and wild and wooly gambling is found.

This book is written in such a way you'll feel like you're right in the heart of all that action. It's the next best thing to going to a casino. A lot more interesting things happen in the Vegas Fever's craps action than you'll see in a month of Sundays at a live casino table.

Vegas Fever A Craps Shooting Love Story

My New Work In Progress, out at end of year: Vegas Fever: A Craps Shooting Love Story

A newbie craps shooter, with talent, cunning and guts, goes to Vegas, as soon as he turns 21, for a week with his bro, to see if he can make it. (He's been practicing his toss on a homemade craps table in the barn for a year and a half, waiting to turn 21.) He trips across love in the process. A gambling/romance/adventure/misadventure

Who could ask for anything more? It was a story I just had to write, because, even though it listed as fiction. I did most of it myself—just not the finding love part! wink emoticon

Maybe a bit like Paul Newman's movie, "The Hustler"

They even tell me I'm still famous among the craps shooters in Vegas, and that my name, The Ice Man, often comes up when the story telling gets started.

BETA READERS NEEDED! ARC available. Your feedback needed.

I've just finished writing my fourth stand alone book, and need a few beta readers' feedback for it. It's a fast paced fictional saga about a week long craps shooting adventure in Vegas by a newby craps shooter, who finds romance in Vegas, too. Working title: "Vegas Fever: A Craps Shooting Love Story"

My editor can't get to editing it until early November, she's that backed up right now; so I want to get it beta read by a few avid readers, and get their feedback, comments, and suggestions about my book. I have given it an editing pass, myself, but don't guarantee it to be error free at this point. It's more a polished second draft.

If you are interested, let me know, and I can get a MOBI kindle format or PDF copy out to you. I do expect your feedback, in return. And, I want to thank you for your help, in advance.

Anyone up for a good read? Is it fiction? Or, did it really happen? That's what you should be asking at the end.
Thanks,
Bill Collins, author
