I'm on a Book Tour!

A Blog book tour!  I don't get to meet my fans in person - boo!  I don't have to travel away from my family - Yay! What a great way to get to meet so many fans of funny fantasy books without leaving the comfort of my coffee shop and/or home.  I'm very excited, I've put a lot of time into writing for each and every one of these stops.  Though some touch on similar themes,  they are all original.  No copy/paste jobs here!  The Author Q&A have the most diverse content because there are multiple

The end is nigh!

I knew how Dragon Apocalypse was going to end, but was having some trouble figuring out how to get from where I was at into the ending.  I don't want to spoil too much, but I went through several possibilities and am in love with the one I finally reached.  I'm quite please with it and hope to hone it into quite proud of it sometime soon.  feeling quite happy

The next Terry Pratchett?

"Powell does have the same humanist element that runs though Pratchett’s best work."   "It was like watching a D&D game with Douglas Adams as DM and Monty Python as the players."   "There were definitely sentences and scenes that I could tell were influenced by British humor writing (like Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, and Monty Python."   "Funny, often sarcastic, in the Terry Pratchett vein of humor."   "The author's writing and sense of humor are reminiscent of the late Terry Pratchet"   One

Kickstarter starting soon.

The Kickstarter to turn the novel into a graphic novel is set to begin soon, I'll update here when I have more details.  There are a lot of exciting rewards, including a guest appearance as a townsfolk or a goblin, or guest starring as one of the trolls!  Nice.  Here is the cover, sans title.  [image error]

Audio Book is DONE

The audio book is done, and available on Audible.com.  Robert Ashker Kraft turned in an amazing performance and production.  It's huge, I am quite fortunate to have found him.  He has a great sense of comedic timing, spot on character voices, and the audio quality is top notch.  The book is doing quite well in reviews, and Robert is doing even better!  [image error]

The sketch is in!

The sketch for the first page of the graphic novel has come back.  It looks great!  I can practically read the words of the book just looking at the sketches.  Great work Nathan Massengill and Kevin Stokes!
