The Pledge
The Pledge is live! This was a very special book to write for a few reasons. One being, I had my first experience co-writing. Writing with Christine Manzari was a fantastic experience. I learned so much from her during the process. Plus, every time I checked my email and found a new chapter from her felt like Christmas morning! The second reason this book is so important to me is that both Christine and I wrote about our college experiences. Reliving my sorority days at the University of Maryland was so much fun. Learning about Christine's Gymkana days was fascinating. We went to the same college, at the same time, and lived polar opposite lives. Finding a way to bring our two characters, with such different lives, together was a challenge we loved taking on. Finally, I think the message in this book is unique and one I am so proud to say I wrote. I hope readers enjoy this story about the power of second chances, and that they will see that stereotypes are lies, trust is a risk worth taking, and love is the most important pledge we can make. http://amzn.to/1JpBaBA

Is spring here yet? I'm ready for warmer temperatures and sunny days. Weather here in Maryland has been crazy! I wanted to pop in and share the synopsis for my next book! College senior, Grace Yeates, is determined to defy the odds. She is months away from graduating with a business degree, something no one thought she would be able to pull off. All she has to do is focus on her number one priority. Family comes first.
Distraction.
Dean has no time for distractions, but when a gorgeous, snarky, redheaded waitress refuses to tell him her name, he can’t seem to focus on anything else.
Grace knows she can’t let herself get caught up in a guy, particularly a man-whore like Dean, no matter how charming or sexy. She has two hearts to look out for now and no room for a Dean-sized distraction.
