My love affair with reading began in kindergarten with "The Three Little Pigs." Visits to the library introduced me to Encyclopedia Brown, Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle and a host of other characters. Fast forward to college where I continued reading while studying Computer Science. After a rewarding career in the computer industry, I decided to try my hand at writing mysteries. My short fiction has appeared in Mysterical-E and Spinetingler Magazine, among others. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I now live in Southern California where I enjoy tole painting, learning ancient languages and spending time with friends and family. ...more

No one in my family seemed to know what happened to one of my great grandfathers. He'd disappeared from view in the early 1900s. After some research, I figured out the mystery. While this isn't all that exciting, a good mystery could develop out of looking for a "lost" relative.(less)
