I sometimes get "lazy writer's syndrome" where I literally get too lazy to actually write/type out my thoughts. I find this can be very unfortunate because I will sometimes think up a brilliant (in my opinion) way that I want to express some aspect of a story, but I'm too lazy to write it down immediately. When I try to do it a few days later I don't always get it down in its original form. I don't allow myself to indulge in my "lazy writer's syndrome" too much anymore but there are some times when I still do it--always to my regret.(less)

Ben Carson
“Reading activates and exercises the mind.
Reading forces the mind to discriminate. From the beginning, readers have to recognize letters printed on the page, make them into words, the words into sentences, and the sentences into concepts.
Reading pushes us to use our imagination and makes us more creatively inclined.”
Ben Carson, Think Big: Unleashing Your Potential for Excellence

Orson Welles
“My doctor told me to stop having intimate dinners for four. Unless there are three other people.”
Orson Welles

Graham Greene
“You know what the fellow said – in Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace – and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.”
Graham Greene, The Third Man

Orson Welles
“Ask not what you can do for your country. Ask what’s for lunch.”
Orson Welles
