“Never tell the people who fooled you your secrets, for they will look like real fools in the future.”

“Some people find love right away, while others don't. I haven't, but will when the time is right.”
Julio Bonilla

“You lose friends the second they betray you.”

“The nicest thing about feeling happy is that you think you'll never be unhappy again.

Manuel Puig, Kiss of the Spider Woman and Two Other Plays

“My imagination functions much better when I don't have to speak to people.”
Patricia Highsmith

“It is easy to love people in memory; the hard thing is to love them when they are there in front of you.”
John Updike, My Father's Tears and Other Stories

“People sometimes sneer at those who run every day, claiming they’ll go to any length to live longer. But I don’t think that’s the reason most people run. Most runners run not because they want to live longer, but because they want to live life to the fullest. If you’re going to while away the years, it’s far better to live them with clear goals and fully alive than in a fog, and I believe running helps you do that. Exerting yourself to the fullest within your individual limits: that’s the essence of running, and a metaphor for life—and for me, for writing as well. I believe many runners would agree.”
Haruki Murakami, What I Talk About When I Talk About Running

“Practice isn't the thing you do once you're good. It's the thing you do that makes you good.”
Malcolm Gladwell, Outliers: The Story of Success

I've just left a short Spanish-language review of your newest book at amazon.mx! Thank you for the opportunity to practice!
Have a great tomorrow.

I've been well. I had a really long day today. Sometimes at work, I'll think of writing, adding a detail to a story I'm working on, and then go about my business.
The Italian-version of Black Suede Jacket is now available as an audiobook on iTunes. This time I self-published on Draft2digital, which opens all kinds of new doors for me. What have you been up to?

Majenta Hi, Julio! How have you been? I just wanted to tell you that I recommended your books TWO DRINKS and JACKET to someone. Oops--I forgot your newest one. But I was telling this person that I had left a review at Amazon in Spanish, and that reminded me of leaving foreign-language reviews of the foreign-language versions of your books. So if you're ever at amazon.com/mx or amazon.com/ca, check out my reviews of PREKE TOWN by Gary O. Thompson. Thank you. And I hope you're doing all right and I wish you all the best in your life and with whatever you're working on currently. Blessings and peace!
Best wishes from Majenta
