Ever since she was a young and impressionable girl, Lacey has loved reading and creating stories. Some she told to impress, others still to scare people (also scaring herself). However, many of the stories dancing around her head are born from her deep love of American history and literature. A proud and admittedly obsessed history buff, she builds many of her novel ideas around the American Revolutionary War.
Lacey is married to the most amazing husband in the entire world and lives in Texas.

And it's fun! :)(less)

Whether you're a pantser or a plotter, get those ideas down on paper or screen, then worry about the editing later. This is a struggle for me, because I tend to be a perfectionist in that area, but really that first draft is for figuring out the story, uncovering the treasure, carving out the marble statue from the shapeless stone. Write what you want to write, not what the stats dictate. And may every story you write have hope and inspiration that will turn people's eyes toward the One Who gave you the gift of writing! (less)
