The picture above sums up me perfectly. The past year has been a whirlwind of finishing book 3 of The Black Eagles series, being a mum, wife and helping with family business. I must admit I have taken my foot of the gas, my promotional self should be ashamed. My books have been sat on the Amazon shelf mostly ignored. I only have myself to blame and the thing called life. I am now very close to finishing my first series and just waiting for my final part to be returned from my editor. I decided to take a few weeks out to relax and clear my mind to allow new ideas to take root. I could lie and say that the ideas are flooding in and I have seven more books in the works. I have two, but I’m debating over them if I’m honest and I don’t think one will make it. 

You see I have been cheating on my characters with others things, Amazon prime and Netflix. I hadn’t sat down and watched anything in full for years because I had been hell bent on writing. I got carried away BUT it wasn’t a complete waste. It has given my mind a shake up and although I am now fully ready to attack the world of make believe I need to decided where to go now. 

Have I given up on writing? Hell No! I’m taking my time before jumping in. But what I really need to do for the coming months is get my series out into the world. It is time to show it some love. 

Kat is back and ready to rock and roll.

Luke Black had one too many last night and woke up this morning in his hotel room, hangover from hell and his acoustic guitar; Chloe missing, taken from his room.  He is frantic as this guitar has sentimental value. It was his first guitar that his mother gave to him on his twelve birthday. The guitar was named after a childhood friend who died in a house fire on her seventh birthday. This isn’t just a guitar to Luke but a part of his childhood and a way to remember his first true friend.

Welcome to my Author nomination Award.

I wanted to give Authors like myself a chance to gain some free promotion. I’ve had some great support over past 2 years and every little bit of help can do wonders.

I’m keeping this very simple, in order to make it fun and without restrictions. I asked for nominations from readers or Author’s themselves. If an Author has made you smile, cry, rage or sit there in shock with their own creations I wanted to know about them.

The time has come for me to form a Street Team.

I will be looking for 10 members to begin with and depending on how things go recruit more at a later date.

What I’m  looking for?

I won’t ask for much but to promote me where you can and help spread the word. I may ask you to cover events if I am unable to. Hopefully this won’t happen often as I do ensure I book in for things I am 100% sure I can attend. There will be certain tasks set but this will be as and when they come up. I’m easy going and I won’t ask you to do anything I wouldn’t be prepared to do myself.

You will need to read both my books if you become a purple heart & Fan-girling is a must over my characters. ;)

What do you get?

Free PDFs (If you haven’t already got them) plus book 3 once it’s released, date TBC. Any other books that come along in the future.

Why I choose the name..

I wanted to have a name that didn’t specify a book as who knows what I might do once I have finished my first trilogy. I thought a more general name would help in the future. I’m obsessed with the colour purple and I really like that picture. That’s all it took .. and it could be a band name. ha ha

I look forward to hearing from anyone interested. Don’t worry if you don’t hear from me straight away, busy time at the moment. I aim to reply with 7 days.
