Lisa Tant lives in Louisville, KY with her husband and two children. She developed a love for writing at a very young age. In high school, Lisa decided she wanted to become a special education teacher, and that goal became her main focus. Lisa taught at several elementary schools during her eight years as a special education teacher. When her daughter was almost 2 years old, she left the teaching profession to stay at home with her children. She began a blog in late 2013 and her love of writing was rekindled. Her first book, "Today I Hate My Body: Shifting to a Christ-like Body Image" is based on a blog post that she wrote in early 2014.
