One more day between me and my book signing event in Salem, MA! I hope I see you there!

With the holidays upon us and the end of 2014 looming, I think about how incredible it feels to have published my first book. From my first experience with an editor (somewhat painful, but necessary and worthwhile) to a successful book-signing event at a bookstore in Salem, MA-the same city of my book's setting, I've loved every minute. Best of all, I've received such support and enthusiasm from readers, in addition to some well-meaning threats (I think!) to finish the sequel to The Timeless Ones.

To that end, I have made much progress and am expecting to have the first draft completed by the end of the year. Yes, I do realize that's in 17 days (cringe). With some hard work and a bit of luck, I plan to release the next book (yet to be named) in spring 2015.

In the meantime, I continue to look forward to reader feedback and reviews. I'm not just saying that-it means more than you can imagine.

So, I finally got around to building my author website. I would've liked to have it out before my first book, but it's out before the second, so I'll consider that a win. Plus, I spent my time writing instead of building a website, which I think was a fair trade.

It's my first website, and it's pretty cool IMO. Having said that, I'm sure I'll continue to play with it over the next few months as I see changes I want to make.

I'm honored to be participating in a local Author Event at the Danvers Public Library on June 4th!

This is particularly exciting to me because The Timeless Ones takes place not only in Salem, but in Salem Village which is what Danvers was called before the town changed its name in 1752. You could say it's a homecoming of sorts.
