Welp, after writing the first draft and forgetting about it for two years, I finally tore myself away from the PS5 to rewrite and edit it! This one's definitely a favourite. I took direct inspiration from a Netflix show called The Business of Drugs. A fantastic show detailing the business side of the narcotics industry. I applied this to a fantasy context, and my own world in particular, and reworked a story plan from an old idea I'd long abandoned. Wasn't planning to carry it on afterward but as stories tend to do, this one slipped its leash and ran off in a direction that lead to solid material for a sequel. Green Shadows
