It took several drafts to get my best one, and indie publishing (limited editions for a limited time only, mainly digital and free on a read-to-review basis) was a very good way to connect with my readers. I considered every single review, good and bad, along the lines of beta reader feedback to create a story that grabs readers from the very first page and keeps them hooked until the end.
And now literary agents are interested in representing my work :) I can't wait to announce the acquisition of my YA literary debut by the publishing house.

Left behind my job to devote myself to Young Adult literature ✎ I really hope I'm good enough to make young readers feel they're the protagonist of their own life story, and haters are worth nothing more than a paragraph, and maybe one day this "little writing thing", as they call it, will turn into my full-time beloved job.
I've been leaving behind my job as an economist, writing corporate finance textbooks and designing math apps, to devote my time and all my energy to write what I know and care about, emphasizing what teenagers are going through right now and giving it a positive message. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's a good decision, because this "little writing thing" is a very responsible job and I'm working hard to be up to my task.

I read tons of books and some of them, maybe all, are English books. But English is not my mother tongue and I happen to mispronounce some words just because I've only read them.
