This was a well done collection of horror short stories. Even more impressive is the fact this collection was written by fairly "new" writers. I assumed from the title these stories would be all body horror, and while there was some of that, it also ...more |

4.5 Stars I love this series. The macabre tales mixed with the 1938 setting just works. In this volume we have a story about a Doctor who prescribes death to those he deems past their primes and ready to die. I did have an issue with how this story en ...more |

This was really good as it was a bit of a change from the usual stories in the series. It's about a mugger in Central Park, and at first we assume it's another of the truly diabolical villains Wesley has faced throughout the series, but as things pro ...more

It's amazing how polarizing this graphic novel is. I myself didn't like it. It was just too confusing. There's two girls in this weird town, and they keep seeing weird stuff. But what's even weirder is how they handle it. A skinless man attacks them ...more

This volume was a more typical pulp style adventure, but was still very good. A killer using a poisoned bullwhip starts murdering powerful businessmen, and Wesley Dodds AKA The Sandman is a powerful businessman himself. See where this is going?

“The first time Mr. Darcy asked Lizzy to marry him in Pride and Prejudice, he went about it all wrong,” I started, smiling at the connection I’d just made in my mind. “He insulted her and her
family. But after her refusal, he made a conscious effort to change for the better, and everything worked out for them the second time he proposed. It’s the same with us. You learned from your past mistakes, and everything’s different now. Just as Lizzy gave Mr. Darcy a second chance, I’m going to do the same for you.”
“I’m glad that Lizzy gave Mr. Darcy a second chance.” He smiled at the comparison. “She was the only one for him. He would have been miserable without her.”
“And she would have been miserable without him.” I laughed. “Even though she might not have admitted it.”

How are you?
I hope all is well :-)"
Hi Ella! Long time no chat! Yes, I'm doing well, hope you are too!

Thanks for the friendship. We have lots of the same interest. Werewolves are the greatest creatures around. But I study all the supernatural.
Blessed Be . . .

As for my profile pic, it's by Deviantart-featured artist elsevilla, and it's titled "Dont leave the magic eye".

Hi Jenna! I will probably take you up on that, I am constantly looking for honest reviews, thanks for the add!

Cheers!
Quentin

As far as writing stories, I don't know what drives me. Can't be the money, Lord knows I'm always broke.
Sometimes I believe it's the pleasure of being understood. When the people leave a review and tell you it's all good.
But you know ... I know, you know; you're a writer too!
Best regards my friend;
T.A. Walters
