Jany Vernis is a working mum, complete with two teenagers and in touch with her inner history geek.

She is French, lives in Ireland and writes in English, mostly Historical Fiction novels but also Sci-Fi and Fantasy. She is a health professional with a background in sciences.

Her first historical novel, 'The Viking's Hold', started as a challenge to prove her son that history wasn't boring. Uploaded on Wattpad, the story received an overwhelming support worldwide, leading to its publication.
