The True Meaning Behind the "Luptator" Series
I often get the question, "What does Luptator mean? Did you make it up?"
The answer is no, I did not make up this word. Along with many other words/phrases in the series, "luptator" is a Romanian derived word meaning "fighter". Not only did I feel it was a perfect fit for the race of people in the book, but I thought it fit with the overall theme and moral of the story.
As I've written before, Luptator is a series based on a race of people who bond their souls to demon familiars. The moral of the series is that despite the demons we as humans face, we use the experiences to better ourselves ... or let them completely consume us. As you'll see in the Luptator series, many characters will grow and better themselves because of the help from their demons, while others will allow themselves to succumb to evil and vicious thoughts. The demons bonded to the Luptators are not all evil, and many of times will try to deter their master from a corrupted path, but not even the demon themselves are successful. It goes to show that, sometimes, our own willingness to help ourselves is not enough.
So, that's what "luptator" means to me.
I look forward to hearing all of your opinions and thoughts as you read the series! Luptator: Daemon Angelum
Remember, the adventure continues May 4th with Luptator: Klyborne's Revenge.

Luptator: Klyborne's Revenge
Hello everyone!
I am down to days before I release my second book in the Luptator series, Klyborne's Revenge. (May 4th! AHHH!) You can pre-order here if you desire:
http://www.amazon.com/Klybornes-Reven...
I can't even begin to describe how excited I am! I know this is cliche to say, and every author does, but I've worked extremely hard on this novel for one reason: to tell a great story. I feel like I've grown so much as a writer since my last book and really look forward to sharing my work and the remainder of this story with you all.
As of now, there will be two more books in the Luptator series after Klyborne's Revenge (for a total of four (4)).
I had a lot of fun with this book with the addition of a race who practice magic. Not only will it tie into the story in a HUGE way (I can't reveal that quite yet), but will add a fun element to the remaining three books. As Wesley Pike grows to learn his powers, he'll begin to truly learn who he is and why.
More updates to come, of course! If any of you have any questions, feel free to message me or email me at tilurwatki@gmail.com
P.S. --> Don't forget to enter to win a signed copy of my first book in the Luptator series, Daemon Angelum!

Luptator: Book 2
Hey guys!
I wanted to give a brief update about the Luptator series. Book 1 is doing well, but is not at the level it should be. Let's change that!
The exciting news is that I have started to write the second book in the Luptator series, and expect to have it available sometime in early 2015.
I simply cannot express how excited and eager I am to write this next book and continue on with the adventures of Wesley Pike.
The MOST important thing... I want you all to be part of it! Order a copy, or download my book from the Kindle store, and prepare yourself for Luptator: Book 2! (Title TBA)
As always, thanks for those who have supported me throughout this experience. I can only hope to grow as a writer and expand my horizons!

Why I Wrote "Luptator"
"Luptator" is the Romanian word for "fighter." You may ask yourself, why the strong influence of the Romanian language? A little random... not to me! Why not delve into some of my own family's heritage? But that doesn't completely answer the question, "Why are these people (in this novel) called such? It really has nothing to do with demons at all."
You already know what Luptator translates to, but soon, you'll fully understand what it truly means.
Fighter. Us, humans, face so many obstacles in our daily lives. Some so small, they shouldn't even be a concern, and yet, we let them take over our lives. Why? Well... I really can't answer that, to be honest, but it happens. We overcome them with ease, usually always telling ourselves, "I had nothing to worry about."
These moments, the moments of overcoming a distressing time in our lives, makes us so much stronger with every passing second.
Those moments, however, are not what influenced me to write this novel. The murder, betrayal, suicide, etc... that occurs in Luptator is derived from much more than a common, everyday problem.
We jump from the story of Wesley Pike, to the story of its author, me, Tyler Watkins. It's easy to write such a story when you have witnessed and experienced such tragedy and unforgiving behavior in a lifetime.
Death is inevitable and when it happens to someone closest to you, it hurts. What possible hurts the heart the most is the realization that death could have been just an option, not the final result.
I envy those who have never had to endure the pain and sadness that comes with the loss of a cherished one. Consider yourself blessed... sadly, though, the time will come for you. And although you will feel the absolute worst, the comfort and love from those who still remain around you will overpower the negative emotion trying to win the fight over happiness. This is a great point we see in Luptator- never let evil and negativity prevail. As the wise Krivo once said, "...evil will only cause yourself the most pain."
So even when you feel your absolute worst and nothing seems to be going right in your life, never ignore that small voice in the back of your head that is urging you forward. Doubt is the key to failure and you must not let doubt win. Hope. Do. Succeed. The only person who needs to believe in you... is you. Yes, yes, I know it sounds cliche, but we both know it's 100% true.
I have lost many loving and caring people in my life, by very different and extreme means, but that has never stopped me from living and believing in greatness. The dead have moved on, and although you may feel lost without them, always remember that they will wait for you. Life is sad. Life is happy. But the most important fact about life is that it's unexpected(and that doesn't always have to be negative).
Don't live your life in fear...Fight for what you want and believe in. Just because you don't have a demon familiar and are unable to do amazing abilities with shadow energy, doesn't mean you aren't a Luptator. We are all Luptators...we are all fighters. Luptator: Daemon Angelum

New Beginnings
Cheers to a new and exciting adventure!
As most of you know, I have just recently self-published my first novel, "Luptator: Daemon Angelum." It's been a long and daunting ride, but never boring or unsatisfactory. Despite the book's completion, I am just now beginning the exciting opportunity to share my story with you all!
A little about Luptator... Daemon Angelum is the first book in the Luptator series. It really sets the story for the following two books (titles TBD) so be at ease, all of your questions shall be answered in the following installments.
For those who have already purchased or downloaded the e-book version, I hope you're enjoying the story of Wesley Pike.
For those who have not yet ordered a copy, for whatever reason, may do so through the following channels...
Amazon (offers a physical copy or e-book for Kindle): http://www.amazon.com/Luptator-Daemon...
Createspace online store: https://www.createspace.com/4571819
Barnes and Noble : http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/lupta...
