Victoria Lindstrom was born in Southern California, raised under the tall timbers of the Pacific Northwest, and educated at Clark College in Vancouver, Washington. Her books for young readers include The Scandinavian Santa, The Tale of Willaby Creek, Journey to Snowdonia, and the soon-to-be-released: The Night Of the North. She lives in Washington State with her husband where they are active advocates for the arts in their community.

Last fall, my husband and I booked a trip to Scandinavia. We had hoped to take it in 2023 to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, but cancer intervened.
