Raelle Kaia is a writer, songmaker, and creative philosopher. A primary focus of her work is to question the spiritual roots of humankind’s destructive assault on the world and the self; and to present an alternative intainment of deep connection by which to guide our lives. The concept for Pandastan came to her in a dream in 2002, and the trilogy was written from 2008 to 2014. Raelle currently lives in Oregon, in the United States.

I have never been so captivated by the back-and-forth pattern of any couple in a work of art as with these two in this film. The combination of respect, contempt, longing, witty barbs, internal tensions, situational stressors, undeniable spark and magnetism, chemistry, and dark forces pulling them irrevocably apart are absolute dynamite. Plus they look so good while doing all of it!

Maybe because my own parents fought so much, it was comforting to see such a glamorous couple who also fought a lot, but in a way that made it clear they actually loved and respected each other deeply. (less)
