Clare witnessed the birth of the commercial Internet firsthand as a research director with the Gartner Group, the global leader in information technology consulting. Sometimes I will write a funny memory or a story or start a blog post just to get the…moreStart writing even if it is not part of the book I'm working on. Sometimes I will write a funny memory or a story or start a blog post just to get the creative juices flowing. If I am working on my book, another trick I've learned is to stop writing a scene mid sentence especially if it is compelling because then when I come back to it, it is easier to get into the rhythm of it.
