Military brat who grew up here and there and then there and there until finally my father retired from the Army. Then there were roots, albeit in rocky soil, which is what life sometimes gives you. I'd like to say I always liked to read, but such was not the case and it was only after I discovered an author I truly enjoyed, his characters, his imagery, his detail, that I was smitten with the written word. I started writing shortly afterwards. My first long piece of writing was in essence a 400 plus page love letter. It was quite some time before I began writing again, in the meantime I worked at various chain and a few independent bookstores all the while my muse languished, in need of an outlet.
