Bob Zeanah retired after devoting 34 years to public education. Throughout his adult life, he wrote fiction as a hobby. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Auburn University, a Masters' Degree from University of West Florida, and a Doctorate Degree from Auburn.

Creating engaging Southern characters that you want as your neighbor, your friend, or as a favorite relative is Bob's passion. He writes about the rural south at its best in ways most other southern writers haven't explored to wind mystery and romances through the pastoral, fictionalized community of Romulus, Alabama.

He is an accomplished cook who is passionate about using local foods, a collector of hand thrown pottery, and a fan of jazz music of all types.

There are times that I don't feel a flow of words as …moreI can't say I've ever really dealt with writer's block as I have read about it in other authors. There are times that I don't feel a flow of words as I usually do, but it's not really a "block." Having stated that, I may be cursed tomorrow. There are times when I have to work inwardly and just think about what I want to write rather than writing. I just let my creativity work on something at a subconscious level. At other times, doing some other creative pursuit inspires me. Cooking inspires creativity as does walking, gardening, something that mildly occupies my thinking. Oddly my poker night is usually a mental diversion that gets ideas, and words, flowing. (less)

At any moment I have an outlet, a friend to talk with, a hobby, or worthwhile work. At any moment, I can go somewhere else, meet people, or have a conversation. At any moment, I can create new worlds, new people, or new events. All I have to do is start writing.(less)
