Looking for love?

I'm definitely looking for my one and only, my life companion, best friend, and wife...and I'm finding the dating world/search very difficult in many different ways...But with the search on my mind and heart, some of my favorite fictional couples from stories come to my mind and inspire me, maybe because the author's themselves had some very interesting experiences in their lives.

One of my favorite couples: John Carter of Earth, and Dejah Thoris of Mars-- in the mars series by Edgar Rice Burroughs. After they get married, he goes back to earth and is stuck there, and she waits faithfully for him for 10 years! He finally does return and they re-unite, and its one of my favorite parts.

Do you have a favorite fictional couple? And what did they do for each other that inspires you?

Choose your own adventure! Your Life...

Do you enjoy 'Choose Your Own Adventure' stories? I love them!, but good ones worth while seem to be hard to find.

...But what makes them so great is the thrill of the unknown adventure, along with the thrill that any turn could lead to danger, or a surprising twist, or an insane ending. A small, simple and seemingly insignificant choice could lead you into a huge plot, or cause major consequences.

...What if your life was written down into a C.Y.O.A story? what would it be like? ...if you look back on all your life decisions, even the small ones, try to imagine the other choices you could have taken...what would have happened differently? ...If someone else were to read your story and have the same choices, would they pick the same ones--thinking it would help them progress through the book?

...unlike a book, every choice you make in life cannot be taken back...the story must go on. But your life choices matter, and you matter!. You have value. Not because of what you have done, or haven't done. You have value because you are a person in the image of God--who loves you. He knows your story.

A Anime film Dream

A dream of mine would be to have one of my stories (like Simply, Jane) adapted into an anime movie in the style of Makoto Shinkai, or some others ...After getting into the wonderful art and story form of anime and manga a bit, and after watching the films like: Your Name, Children who case lost voices from deep below, and Howl's moving Castle, and some others,..I can picture it as an anime, and I'd love to get the message out in such an neat style. ....I Thought I would release this dream and share it. ...What's your dream?

Story into Game.

Hello everyone. I took a break from writing to work on a few new projects. ...I'm currently developing a few card and board games with Manga/Anime style art/themes to them, and possibly going to turn one of my latest stories (Simply Jane) into a board game. ..I'm very excited and hopefully will be able to sell them on my website when they are complete.

Thanks for supporting me, encouraging me and giving my books a shot. I hope to make more updates soon and also get a new novella out when I start writing again.

If you know any artists, or enjoy creating anime/manga style art. I'm currently looking for illustrators for a new card game project idea and would love to see your work, and maybe create something together.

Simply Jane

Hello!

my latest story, "Simply Jane" is almost ready for advanced reading copies. I hope to start a book giveaway soon as well.

If you'd be interested in reading Simply Jane, please drop me a message, or leave a comment or something.
I'd love to send you a free copy.

The story is about a girl living within her imagination, and trying to find a way out with her fantasy self intact, but finding it difficult to escape her brokenness.

Its a story that may not make any sense...oh well!

I wish you all well!

Coffee shop conversations

I talked with a guy today, who questioned me in a interview style way, and picked apart my life like a frog in science class. I talked more today than maybe in the entire week. lol...but the interview with this gentleman got me thinking about some things.
It made me feel a bit depressed to be honest.

It reminded me to keep my mouth shut. There is a good reason to be silent most of the time. To be quicker at listening than speaking is something I desire to be better at. I should have turned down such an interview, unless there was a way to be helpful.

Also, if I break my life down to a million ways, who am I if I take it all away? I need to place my identity in the one greater than I am. We are here today, gone tomorrow.

Hope something can be gleaned from this post.

Strange, pointless blog

Sometimes I go out to a coffee shop and try to write, or work on a story, but nothing comes to mind. I find myself sitting alone, watching people come and go. Time passes, and I feel unaccomplished. then the day is over and I go back to work as usual. I think about life's daily moments and wonder if any of it matters. The next weekend arrives and my life picks up where it left off. Yet again, I find myself sitting alone, observing the passing tides of people. In the crowds of a mall, or a coffee shop, loneness is stronger than ever. On occasion a nice gal sits down near me, and I glance over with a smile hoping she will notice, but she never looks over. A new seat opens up and she leaves without even looking up from her phone. The boss calls me suddenly and the ringing breaks the silence. I go in to work and pass the remaining time away, then go to sleep for the night. When I wake, the week is started, I go into work and the cycle continues...can you relate? tell me about it if you want.

Newest story is almost ready!

I'm close to putting my latest story out there for people to read. I will be doing a giveaway soon and of course will send a free copy to anyone who has reviewed a story of mine in the past. I appreciate you greatly! Your feedback encourages me and helps me grow as a writer and story teller.

after the novella is out for sale, I might do a drawing contest with a money prize or gift card. There is a creature in my latest story and I'm curious how people will imagine him. The contest will be: To Draw a book cover with the creature, (However you imagine him to look like in the story) and also the book title together. Out of all the drawings I will pick 3 for a prize and try to post them for everybody to see.

Take care!

Its been awhile...

If anybody out there is reading these, sorry its been awhile. Due to work, its been hard to write anything lately or keep up on here. But I do have a new story in the works. Its a sci-fi-Fantasy adventure that will take you to a desolate moon filled with dangers(of course) and strange wonders. Also, if you are a self-pub writer and have some sci-fi books out there, feel free to post it in the comments. I'd like to check them out! or if you've read something lately that made you say: wow, that was fun!

have an awesome day!
