Buying Brianny (Masters of the Castle)
By Abbie Adams
Twelve Chapters, 39,975 Words
Tagline: They say the best way to learn a language is through immersion,
Brianny wasn't sure it worked the same way in BDSM.
Blurb:
He was a man for God's sake. A man living in the twentieth century where treating a woman delicately had been bred into him. You never hit a girl, his mother had taught him that from a tender age. Women's rights were touted hither and yon. Spanking was for disobedience in children. No, children weren't spanked anymore either.
Kian had been spanked many times as a child. His single mother might have seemed like a country mouse, but she'd walloped him good on more than one occasion. And he'd deserved everything she dished out. He knew it—and he knew she loved him and wanted the best for him too.
That hadn't worked with an ex of his though. She hadn't thought of it as loving when he'd busted her ass for drinking and driving. No, she'd ended the relationship in a hurry. Of course he'd never repeated the mistake with another women. Not even his Brianny, who as it turns out, has craved discipline among other things.
Brianny has a bucket list, not the kind you want to do before you die—the kind you do before you get married. Okay, maybe not that either, but her sister says unless Brianny explores her inner submissive, she'll never be content with her future husband.
But what if said future husband turns her away because he doesn't like her submissive side? It had taken Brianny a pint of Hot Damn and her kinky sister to even put voice to her secret desires.
Some people go to strange and amazing lengths to prove their love. All Brianny wants as proof is for Kian to buy her at The Castle's New Year's Eve charity auction, then tie her up and take away her control. Consentual, non-consent, that’s what her sister had called it. Was that too much to ask?
Will Kian pay the asking price? Money might not buy love, but at The Castle it can buy a submissive for the week.
Excerpt 1
"Hands on your head, bend farther. I know you can. Get your ass up in the air." He was right too. She was able to bend farther, even with her hands behind her head. She could see him from down between her Abbie Adams Masters of the Castle Buying Brianny
legs. He'd sat back as if to get comfortable and crossed one of his legs over the other. "Now, it says here that you are open to a variety of things: restraints, rough sex, hair-pulling, cock-sucking, face-fucking, gagging, double penetration. Not much you won't do, eh?"
"I just want to please you. Whatever you like," she mumbled. It was hard to speak when she was balanced so precariously.
"Whatever I like? Okay," He flipped the sheets over and looked at a different one. "That's funny, because it seems that I like all the same things you do. I don't think this is about me. In fact, it seems rather one-sided if you ask me."
Author Interview
When did you first consider yourself a writer?
Perhaps when I received my first bit of money and my dear hubby ran out and bought me a laptop? I don’t know most of the time I still get confused, it is easy for me to say that I am a writer everyone is a writer… but well not everyone is an author? So maybe it was when I received that first bit of money that I actually felt like an author… but I have always been a writer.
When you write, do you ever model any characters after actual people?
Yes, I put many of my friend’s personalities into my characters. I won’t use their names but I may make them similar to people I have met and that will help me to remember who their personality is.
Why do you like to write? Do you recall how your interest in writing originated?
I have always loved to read. I loved to take off to other places and lives. But, as you may know things don’t always progress the way you like them too. I am guilty of rewriting everyone else’s books or movies. I always had to add spankings to everything. There were very few spankings in modern day books. I did find a few in the older romance novels and treasured them. But, even if it weren’t for the lack of spankings- I just loved to recreate or explore the shoulda- coulda- what-ifs… in story making. When you are the author- you can do whatever you want.
Are there any authors that have grasped your interest? Wow, there are so many. I just recently found and read a bunch from Maren Smith… She is awesome. And then there is Renee Rose, I got a sneak peek at her WIP and it is hot. It doesn’t matter what she writes- it is awesome. Oh, and Sue Lyndon- EVERYTHING she writes.
If you could be a character in any novel you’ve ever read, who would you be and why?
This is crazy hard I mean, really? Part of the joy of reading is that you can put yourself in the book, but not feel the actual spankings right? Dang but some of those spankings are soooo hot…. How about Kylie in The Locket, by Maren Smith. That was a fun one.
If you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor?
This one is the easiest by far, Breanna Hayse. Period. Plain and simple.
She is always there, whether I need to be told to straighten up (and she has even emailed my husband a time or two) or if I need a shoulder to cry on. She has given me hard feedback and great encouragement. If that isn’t enough look at her books. If you haven’t read them, wow have you missed out.
She is the only person I know who can give you an education in a fictional book and to top that off- she makes you cry for more. She makes you understand why you crave the things you crave, and why it is normal for you to want it. Well, with her career in nursing- a degree in Biology (pre-med) and a masters in Psychology, specializing in deviant behavior and alternative lifestyles she is a fountain of creative support.
How do you rate success?
That is a very hard question to answer. Seeing my book go number one doesn’t mean “Hey, I’m so popular!” It means that these people totally got something out of this book. They understood me. They related to the struggle of my characters. I had a really hard time letting this story out, and this going to the top of the chart means it was good that I let it out, and maybe somebody else relates.
What has been the toughest criticism given to you as an author? What has been the best compliment?
Hmmm- I get a lot of comments about the endings. I always chalk it up to the fact I am writing a series. I try very hard to answer/solve the main issue of that book, but leave stuff for the series to go on. The problem I have is that people say the ending is abrupt. I don’t know if that is good or bad. I try to fill the story right up. I mean I have an outline of sorts of what I want to happen in each book, so when it ends and it seems to be cut off- there is another story to be told. Maybe I still need to find a better way to do this.
The best compliment- probably that my stories are so real, down to earth. You can get into the characters and feel what they feel.
If you couldn’t be an author, what would your ideal career be?
An editor, Literary Agent, some other part of book marketing.
Do you have any advice for other writers?
Just don’t be afraid to tell your story. Stop procrastinating and write it. If you are writing already, let loose, write for yourself and don’t worry what others will think, most of the time more people will love you for being real.

Inspiration
I'm going to try something new. Last night when I was catching up on the Walking Dead, I began a new story. This ideas has been in my head for years. So for a teaser these two men are my inspiration for two of my main characters
Manu Bennet- Manu is best known for his portrayal of powerful gladiator Crixus on Starz hit series Spartacus. Manu can also be seen in the CW network hit, Arrow, playing legendary comic book character, Slade Wilson.
Luca Calvani- Among his American TV roles, the HBO series Sex and the City (2001)

Live, Learn, Respect the Lifestyle
There was always something deep inside of me. When most teens wants a car, I wanted a motorcycle. When most teen girls wanted the popular guy in school, I wanted a man on a big black Harley Davidson.
My parents divorced when I was five. I remember my mother would drive me over to my dads' house for a visit. On the way there we use to pass by this red and white building with dozens of motorcycles out front. All I wanted was to go inside!
The love, respect that I have for bikers didn't begin when the FX channel added Sons of Anarchy to their lineup. It began LONG before that! When most girls were carrying around Teen Beat Magazine, I carried Outlaw Biker in my binder.
The other day I thought I found a promising novel. Great cover, good title and I immediately couldn't get pass the blurb. Why you ask? 'the blurb for the novel stated that this particular club wanted to be legit, like the other 95% of motorcycle clubs.
WTF????
95% Really??? So I guess all of the Outlaw clubs will have to get new tattoos that read 1%er +4%er. Because we're 5% of the biker community.
I'm all for every author following their passion and writing; respect the craft, do research. Google is amazing!

All Booked Up!
Book Review
What I liked about this bookMonster, he’s what kept me in the story. If you’ve read either of my novels you know that I tend to like men with ISSUES but who doesn’t. It’s what makes a character interesting. What would be the fun in reading about someone who is perfect? Over all the characters were like able. His brother was a bit annoying but hey who doesn’t have an annoying relative. The story doesn’t really keep you guessing but that’s not really necessary. It’s a cute little romantic story. Not my usual type of book to read but I was in a girly mood. Plus there aren’t many interracial MC novels out there. What was my favorite part of the book? Not one scene sticks out as my favorite. I simply liked the way Monster feels about her.
What did I disliked about the book?I don’t think it was necessary for both of them to have physical flaws. I understand why the characters were written that way. The author wanted to show that people can bond over the tragic things in their life (this is my take on it anyway). However it gives the impression that if there is something wrong with you physically then you need to find someone just like you or no one will love you. It’s straight up romance, not a bad thing but if you’re looking for a hardcore MC club novel this isn’t it.
What I wish would have happen? Monster met a woman without physical scar and she still found him attractive and desirable. Don’t get me wrong she still could have had all of her other issues. I just didn’t like how all of the other women in the book treated Monster. Sure people are shallow and some women wouldn’t want him. However he had so many other good traits that his physical complications wouldn’t have been an issues for a lot of women. Even a woman with no scars herself.
The ending It was nice, a little abrupt but like I said, over all a cute, romantic love story.
Book ratingOn a scale of one to five, this one gets a 3.5http://www.amazon.com/Warped-Dueling-Devils-Book-4-ebook/dp/B00S4BZON0/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1424019115&sr=1-1&keywords=warped

Behind Blue Eyes: Hells Vipers 2
Author's warning: This is an erotic novel about a one percent motorcycle club known as the Hells Vipers. It contains sex, interracial relationships, violence and even kinkier sex. If you are looking for an erotic version of “The Notebook,” this book is not for you. However, if you love kinky, motorcycle-riding, dominant alpha males who sometimes find the need to resort to violence, then enjoy!

Virtual Hells Viper member; Medic
I found this photo on Pinterest. No such luck in finding out who the model is. I did an image search and only came up with information about his tattoo. He would make an excellent Medic. In Hells Vipers: You Belong to Me, Medic is only mentioned several times. However I am currently writing book two and he plays a bigger role in that novel.
