Help Wanted, Hero Needed

After quite a while away from writing due to a lot on my plate in my real life, I got back to crafting an M/M short story in response to a Title-to-Tale challenge prompt. You can find it here: Help Wanted, Hero Needed. It was fun to write, and I hope to read. I would also encourage others to take a try at writing a short M/M romance story in response any of the prompts provided. Thanks.

Kiss Me Breathless

I've written a new short story in response to the "Title to Tale" prompt for January 3, 2015 in the M/M Romance Group.

Kiss Me Breathless has eighteen-year-old Mormon Missionary, Nate Hansen traveling to Puebla Mexico, knowing he's gay and needs to stay in the closet to serve. The trouble is that the missionary assigned to show him the ropes, is the one opponent in high school wrestling that he really had the hots for. How will Nate and Caleb pursue their dreams of missionary service, and yet be true to their hearts and love one another?

Love Those Christmas Romances

One of the best things to come my way since becoming part of the M/M Romance scene, happens to be Holiday-themed M/M Romances. I was always a sap for the Hallmark Hall of Family Christmas TV movies, but LGBT YA and M/M Romance stories set in a holiday time frame are even more satisfying to read. Whether or not you have plans for the holidays, take the time to read a good LGBT or M/M Romance holiday-themed story. You'll be glad you did.

Through Fire and Water

I have really enjoyed writing to the various challenges in the M/M Romance Group and in the LGBT YA group. One such response has been to extend my response to a text and title prompt:
Through Fire and Water

And the still on-going extension:

Through Fire and Water Extension

At some point, I hope to republish these efforts as separate independently published stories. I hope that if you read and enjoy such stories that you will let me know. Thank you.

Jay D.'s Favorite Things

Jay D. Clark
While letting the muse wander as I mulled what to call the blog, my mind wandered to the refrain from the Sound of Music: "These are a few of my favorite things..."
