Book Party/Touring
Happy to announce there will be an NYC book party on the opening day of Little Victories: Tuesday Nov. 3 at 7 PM at Powerhouse Books in Brooklyn, NY. YOU ARE INVITED.
If you buy a book, I'll walk your dogs free for a month.
Also have events coming up in St. Paul, Columbus, Detroit, Miami, San Antonio, Philadelphia, Darien, CT and my hometown of Belmont, Ma., among others. If you want to get on that list, or think there's a place we should definitely visit, let me know!
Look forward to seeing all of you!!

AUDIO BOOK
I am recording the Little Victories Audio Book on September 8 and 9th. A poll for Goodreads friends.
Should I read "Little Victories" in the voice of:
1) A drunk pirate.
2.) A nervous dog
3.) An angry robot from the future
4.) A 1983 Commodore computer
5.) Zeus (turns out Zeus sounded exactly like Ryan Seacrest.)
6.) Myself

HOLY MOLY
So my book is coming. My first book. Little Victories. November 3. A rule book for people who hate rule books. Advice for people who hate advice. Hopefully it will make you laugh and cry and all that good stuff.
I am excited for you to read it, and I am grateful to all the people in the Goodreads community who have already taken the time to read it, or order it, or take an ARC copy and use it to prop up a hamster or alligator cage. (Myself, I let my hamsters and alligators roam, free range style.)
I have been writing for magazines and newspapers for a long time but everything about this book writing experience is very new. The solitude, the time commitment, all the advance work. But I am so thrilled to hear of people's excitement for books of all kinds. Don't let anybody tell you that the printed word is dead.
Print rocks, and will live forever.
