Cathy Baker is the author of To Do the Deal, A Novel in Stories, published in 2014 by Demitasse Press. She is a career writer whose other publishing credits include a composition textbook for college students, a disaster planning manual, and a comic book about a couple dealing with their multiple addictions. She also has written several science books for nonscientists and a variety of easy-to-read consumer materials. In addition to writing, Baker enjoys long-distance running and flower arranging. She lives in Maryland just outside Washington, D.C. A collection of short stories, Trios, is forthcoming.
