Background to the novel
Last of the Tasburai is a tale of power, politics and war. The story follows the legendary Tasburai warriors (think Japanese Samurai mixed with Sufi mystics).
At the heart, it's a story about valor and courage, about trying to do the right thing even when all around you disagree.
The novel is set in the fictional Avantolian peninsula, made up of Republics and Kingdoms. The leaders of these states are too busy in political machinations and war mongering, so fail to notice an old enemy, the Magrog, who is secretly planning an invasion of the entire peninsula.
