TIME AND TIDE
Sharpe Books have just published TIME AND TIDE ...
... And I would very much appreciated some reviews ...
Dr Richard Tregenna is a consultant in charge of a Sexual Health Clinic in Birmingham, who realises that the difficult and aggressive patient he saw that afternoon was his old schoolfriend, Marty. The problem is that Marty was declared dead after a caravan holiday in Dorset they'd been on thirty years ago.
So what happened to Marty? And why is he back now?
From this point, Richard's life, already a mess, descends into freefall. Eventually, he is accused of murder and escapes to Dorset to confront his past ...

IT'S TRUE!
Nurses and Doctors are quite rightly two of the most respected professions in this country, and, having worked in the NHS for over twenty years, I can tell you that most doctors really are saints, and most nurses are, indeed, angels.
But there are a few BAD EGGS hiding amongst all the good ones.
I couldn't do anything about them while working in the NHS, but I can write about them now ...

This is the story of Dr Robert Aspinall, who loses his wife, his son and his face in a road crash. He then discovers that the crash was not an accident - someone deliberately sabotaged his car. He has to both come to terms with looking like a monster, and finding the person who caused the crash. Then the tantalising prospect of a Face Transplant is dangled in front of him ...

NEW new Book
Endeavour Press have published my first NEW new book (NEW new book because it's never been published before) GOING VIRAL.
Its about some eco terrorists who get hold of the Smallpox virus and threaten to start an epidemic in Britain unless the Government doubles its overseas aid to Africa.
I was especially pleased to get this one out, partly because it shows I can still write (something all writers worry about when they've had a layoff!), but also because it makes use of the knowledge I acquired when working at Porton Down Microbiological Research Establishment (more years ago than I care to think about!)
To work there, I had to have inoculations for Smallpox, Anthrax and Black Death, among others. This was extraordinarily brave of me because I was terrified of needles. Still am!
It hasn't done badly so far, although not as well as SISTERS OF MERCY, which caught people's imagination for some reason. Ours is not to reason why.
