I had written that book almost to completion when I realized that I wasn't loving it. When I decided to change the premise and put in the challenge of a heroine from our world trying to solve the riddles of an unknown world, the story just flowed.
Originally, the twists and turns were not all there, I start a book with a general framework but I do not always keep to it because situations arise with the characters that send me in a different direction.
It seems strange to admit that my own fictional creation does truly develop a life of its own and sometimes, things develop that I need to incorporate into the story!

Great Day at the Winnekenni Castle!
