Angela Havel has lived on both U.S. coasts, but feels at home in the wide-open spaces of the great plains of rural America where her animals have room to run. Her first book, The Love Song of Bugs Fluffernut tells how she adopted a wild rabbit at two days old and raised him to maturity, and will change the way you look at these fascinating wild creatures.

Havel earned her Bachelor's degree from The University of Kansas (1984) and her Master's of Art in English at Kansas State University (1997).
