Good News, Bad News
Alright Contractor fans, I've got some good news, and I've got some bad news.
Bad news first: The sequel to Contractor, "Prisoner", is getting pushed back. I got off the plane from vacation and they've already got me memorizing buckets of useless nonsense at pharmacy school (something about life-threatening side-effects, but hey, it's probably not that important). I was able to get a little writing done while on vacation, but it was vacation, so my main activity was relaxation.
To the point, I'm pushing back the release date of the sequel. I'm not quite sure when I'll have it done, to be honest, because I really can't estimate my workload. I hate waiting for novels as much as anyone, but I just can't meet the goal I set for myself, which was this very winter.
From now on, I plan on forcibly scheduling in writing time on a regular basis and driving the novel forward even if life gets in my face and shouts very loudly.
The Good News: In sudden and unexpected fashion, the Contractor Audiobook is finally here!!
It's out in two days - count 'em, two (2), on the 26th of January.
You can find it on Audible:
http://www.audible.com/pd/Sci-Fi-Fant...
Or you can get it from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Contractor-The-...
The 14-hour+ audiobook is narrated by Luke Daniels, who has been the voice of plenty of awesome fantasy titles, including short stories by George R.R. Martin, as well as several books in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series.
I sincerely hope you'll continue to support me during this difficult time of cramming as much information about fluid resuscitation and diabetic ketoacidosis into my head as I can!

Contractor Audiobook
I'm extremely happy to let everyone know that I was recently approached by the cool fellows at Podium Publishing for the audiobook rights to Contractor. The deal is done, and it's in development!
They expect it to be a good handful of months until the release, but it should be published on Audible later this year. I'm curious to see how my characters will sound!

Price Change on Contractor
At the ushering of both friends and many readers and reviewers, I'll be increasing the price of Contractor by $1 in December.
I realize the difference between $2.99 and $3.99 isn't all that much, but if it were me, I'd want fair warning all the same. Consider yourself warned!

Thanks for your support!
I was referred to Goodreads by a fan who had written a review for my book here. I've always wanted to keep a list of all the books I've read - and here it is, in convenient website format.
I don't expect I'll be making blog posts too frequently, but I at least wanted to thank all the people that have bought my book and supported and encouraged me to write. Throwing myself out there as a new author has been simultaneously fun, entertaining, crazy, and hectic. I never expected such a strong wave of feedback so quickly.
Know that in between pharmacy school exams and my job as an intern, I'm working hard on the sequel to Contractor. I've got a lot of exciting ideas I'm chomping at the bit to work on, and I'm very confident that it will exceed the bar I set with my first novel.
