Backpacking the Black Forest/Golden Eagle Loop-Tiadaghton State Forest

Twin Mountain Vista

Length: About 36 miles

Difficulty: This is a challenging loop with big climbs, steep descents, stream crossings without bridges. This route is difficult.

Highlights: Several views, cascades and waterfalls, scenic streams, gorges, rock formations, nice campsites. While this loop is challenging, you are rewarded with superb scenery.
