I write picture books and chapter books for children aged zero to eight.

Long before I started writing for children, I wrote for grown-ups. I still do both. My other self is Victoria Thieberger, an accomplished financial journalist. I've lived and worked in New York, London, Sydney and Melbourne.My articles have been published in the world’s leading media including The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Guardian.

I live in Melbourne, Australia, with my husband, two daughters, a cat and some fish.
