Thanks so much for the question. As of right now, there isn't a second book in the works, but anything is possible. I have some other projects I'm working on, but I'd love the chance to continue Kyle's story. There is definitely a lot that could happen!

But be patient. Writing is a craft and it takes time to develop your voice and style. Practice. Practice. Practice. We all know what a clarinet player who never practices sounds like! It's no different with writers. Learn the craft. Finish what you start, and don't give up. (less)

“How do you go to sleep when you know that tomorrow your stop beating? That you are, for all intents and purposes, going to die? How do you close your eyes and let the thing you desire most in this world- time- tiptoe past you?
Have you ever been so scared, so overwhelmed with emotions that you could feel your heart, your soul, doubling over inside of you? You feel like... like you just want to escape, but you know you can't.”

“I guess that's just how people are. We take for granted that we'll always have the chance to tell someone what they mean to us. We take for granted that nothing is going to happen to them, and so we all walk around not realizing how much WE'RE loved. How much WE'RE valued.”
