Summer in the Country
While I fully admit I am not a fan of all the heat and humidity that summer brings, I do love the beauty that grows in nature. And here in the south we’re especially blessed in the wild. Enjoy.

Writing and Business Goals for June 2018
Hello everyone!
Though I freely admit the time I took away from blogging, social media, and writing was unquestionably needed to put myself back in balance, I am truly happy to have returned and ready for June goal setting.
Since the publishing company I used went out of business (please see prior post for explanation), my main focus for June is completing everything necessary to get Have Spirit Will Travel back on Amazon by the end of this year.
June Goals:
Complete all front and back matter ...May 21, 2018
New Edition Coming Soon
If you have recently searched for my book with no success, it is because the company I worked with to publish Have Spirit Will Travel has gone out of business, causing it to be temporarily unavailable. I have taken this time to re-work both the front and back end edits, as well as create freebies for you lovely readers via links directly from the book. I plan to have it updated and back on sale no later than Dec. 31, 2018.
In addition, in case you’ve noticed my absence over the past few mon...

Advice From A Tree
I often read this poem, savoring each line like a bite of luscious chocolate silk pie, whenever my resilience wanes. For it gently nudges me from my wearisome daily existence and self imposed tensions, asking that I remember, as Pierre Teilhard de Chardin so poignantly stated, “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
Below is the poem in it’s entirety, written by the gifted Ilan Shamir, author, artist, storyteller, environmental...

Free Printable Social Media Trackers
I like to keep track of my stats, and can never get my passwords in one place. As I couldn’t find anything I really liked online, (and I enjoy making pretty pictures,) I went ahead and made my own.
If you like them, please feel free to download them for yourself. As a disclosure, I must tell you that I tried a million and one ways to save these docs so they would print the very bottom of the page where my name is, and can’t get it to work. So if you don’t mind the bottom 1/2″ missing, carry on...

Writing and Business Goals for September 2017
August was not quite as productive as past months because I’d taken nearly two weeks off from writing and the business of it; a break I occasionally need with my full time job. Having said that, I’m going to go easy on myself and choose to be pleased with what I did get accomplished. I think we all need to do that a little more. Yeah. Total trend setter here.
August Goals:
Draft a Skyler Sullivan short story – Not done, but I did start a mind map to generate scene ideasUpdate and organize ...August 17, 2017
Happy National Black Cat Appreciation Day

Henri, keeper of my heart
In honor of National Black Cat Appreciation Day, I want to introduce my favorite black cat in the world, Le Monsieur Henri, aka Mr. Fuzzy Face, who is also my muse for Skyler Sullivan’s black cat/familiar, Mordecai, in my book, Have Spirit Will Travel .

Chillin’ in the afternoon
In 2009, Hubby Extraordinaire found this precious little love abandoned at a job site and brought him home to join our family. He was a blessings from the start.

My new momma already loves me
